About The Broad

In the late 1940s, my great-aunt Virginia took a trip to Europe and was asked by the local newspaper to write letters home telling of her journey. This was during a time of uncertainty and collective post-war fear, not too unlike what we’re feeling in our modern times. She knew that by braving that one step forward, she could calm a community, add levity to a dark time, and induce a yearning for growth and exploration.

She titled her missives "Letters From A Broad.”

Those letters, have been my driving inspiration to take this journey in helping anyone transition into a new world - new families, the acutely anxious, those going through any change…and those that wish to make one.

On this path, I came upon my own fork in the road, and have chosen to take the path less taken, and discuss my discoveries through anxiety, depression(ish), and the stigma of helping yourself.

I have a passion for using my own journey to help clear the weeds away from the path others will have to take.  Using training, research, years of experience, and a willingness to always learn and improve, I look forward to helping anyone find steady footing in a world where it feels like the ground is always moving.

If I’m not coaching, facilitating anxiety seminars, teaching car seat safety, or helping families, you can find me through my writing through my blog, or co-hosting the Not Another Anxiety Show podcast!

Also, one time she took a bartending course and failed miserably.
